There comes a time in the later chapters of one's life when a decision must be made about senior housing and elder care. Many elders prefer to stay at home for as long as possible. Others choose to establish a new home that offers some level of daily personal care. Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs) are facilities that offer multiple housing and personal care options. For example, in one community, there may be individual apartments, an assisted living facility, a nursing home and a memory care facility.

In short answer, no one should get divorced without attorney involvement. Randall Levine Appointed to YMCA Cabinet to Assist With Building for Generations Campaign

Randall LevineKALAMAZOO, MICH. - March 13, 2017 - Randall Levine, attorney and managing partner of Levine & Levine law firm, has been appointed to the YMCA of Greater Kalamazoo Building for Generations Campaign Cabinet by President and CEO Steve Springsdorf. In this position, Levine will support the three-phase plan to improve the Maple Branch YMCA buildings, amenities and programs.

Phase one was completed in March of 2016, with the opening of new all-accessible locker facilities in the Y at Centre Street. The project is now in the second phase, which includes changes throughout the Y to create a more accessible and functional facility such as a new multi-purpose room, a barrier-free entrance for members, an expanded Healthy Youth & Teen Center and more. In the last phase, the Y's pool will be replaced with a larger, multi-purpose warm water pool.

Levine & Levine attorneys had the opportunity to attend Kalamazoo's Legacy Ball on Friday, Feb. 17, in support of Judge Alexander Lipsey who was honored during the event. Held in recognition of Black History Month, this was the ninth annual Legacy Ball to occur, and was hosted at the Radisson in downtown Kalamazoo.
