Randall Levine Appointed To Ymca Cabinet To Assist With Building For Generations Campaign

randall levineKALAMAZOO, MICH. - March 13, 2017 - Randall Levine, attorney and managing partner of Levine & Levine law firm, has been appointed to the YMCA of Greater Kalamazoo Building for Generations Campaign Cabinet by President and CEO Steve Springsdorf. In this position, Levine will support the three-phase plan to improve the Maple Branch YMCA buildings, amenities and programs.

Phase one was completed in March of 2016, with the opening of new all-accessible locker facilities in the Y at Centre Street. The project is now in the second phase, which includes changes throughout the Y to create a more accessible and functional facility such as a new multi-purpose room, a barrier-free entrance for members, an expanded Healthy Youth & Teen Center and more. In the last phase, the Y's pool will be replaced with a larger, multi-purpose warm water pool.

"I'm excited to be a part of the cabinet's efforts on this campaign," said Levine. "Building for Generations will ensure the needs of both current and future generations are met."

Levine is the newest member of the cabinet. Other members include Robert Borsos, Joanna Dales, Alice Kemerling, Dee Velkoff, Sheri Welsh and Larry Wilson. Kenneth Miller, president of the Millennium Restaurant Group, serves as chair of the Y's Building for Generations Capital Campaign.

"Randall's involvement with this community is top-notch," said Springsdorf. "He is a long standing member at our Y, and we are thrilled to have his help on this very important project."
